Policies governing directory listings
If your organization is more appropriately listed in our Business Directory, or on our Links page, please refer to those pages for information about how to be listed.The purpose of this website is to serve as a resource for individuals and organizations in Southwest Washington, and to promote the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender resources in Southwest Washington. Organizations and resources may be listed in our community directory if they 1) directly and materially serve the community that this website is designed to serve; 2) are either based in SW Washington, have a large portion of their membership base in SW Washington, or provide a needed resource that is not provided by an organization based in SW Washington. Organizations that do not meet the criteria in the previous item (for example, most Portland based organizations) may be listed on our Links page if they are a non-profit or community group, or in our business directory. Decisions about whether to list any organization or item in this website are the sole discression of the editors.
To add your organization to our Community Resource Listings, send us an e-mail with the following information. Please be complete and put it in the same order as listed here, so that we can cut and paste without editing. (Remember, we're volunteers!)1. Your organization will be listed in a number of categories (you can see them on our home page). Tell us which of the following describes your organization, so that we can list it in the poper places (you may choose more than one):
- For men, women or both
- Focusing on a a particular ethnic group. If so, what group?youth
- Forcusing on youth
- Focusing on a specific age group. If so, tell us the age group.
- Frequently using/speaking a language other than English. If so, tell us the language(s).
- Social
- Support
- Spiritual
- HIV Testing
- Health & HIV Services
- Fundraising
- Referrals
2. If your organization has a website currently, we will provide a link to your site. If you don't have a website, we will create a web page for you, on our site. Below is the template we use to create your web page. Plesae provide us with the information to complete your page.
