1. The purpose of this website is to serve as a resource for individuals and organizations in Southwest Washington, and to promote the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender resources in Southwest Washington.
2. Organizations and resources may be listed in our community directory if they 1)directly and materially serve the community that this website is designed to serve;  2)are either based in SW Washington, have a large portion of their membership base in SW Washington, or provide a needed resource that is not provided by an organization based in SW Washington.
3. Organizations that do not meet the criteria in the previous item (for example, most Portland based organizations) may be listed on our Links page if they are a non-profit or community group, or in our business directory.
4. Decisions about whether to list any organization or item in this website are the sole discression of the editors.

Policies governing Community Calendar

1. Organizations listed in the Resource Directory will be able to post events in the community calendar.  All other postings require the approval of the webmaster.

 

1. Community Message Board:  Contents in this section are restricted by our agreement with BoardHost, which provides the service.  This agreement prohibits "adult" content, as well as racist or discriminatory content.  For the entire listing, visit boardhost.com.
2. GayVancouverWA is intended to be a community site, this site is not intended to be an "adult" site.  If you're interested in services that are of a more sexual/erotic or "adult" nature, we encourage you to check out or links page, where you will find these resources.
3. The owner and editors of the website maintain the sole discretion as to whether any content is appropriate for the website, and may remove any content without notification.
